Our Objectives

The Grandes Personnes association is working to
– invent new ways of making sculpture dance in the street
– question urban decor and everyday objects, to transform them
– upset the hierarchy and the focalisation of spaces
– invert scale or perspective, move the inside out and vice-versa
– confront, either make resonate or clash popular and scholarly, rural and urban, old and modern, artisanal and artistic aesthetics
– experiment with the most diverse forms of collective creation, share know-how
– create new relationships between the audience and the show, from collaborative workshops to innovative scenic schemes
– speak a language accessible to all, showing things, since visual performance is a universal language
